Welcome! I look forward to this year as we educate children "Coram Deo" (in the presence of God). I will share a bit of my background information with you. This is the start of my 11th year teaching. I graduated in 2000 from Kansas State University with a B.S. in Elementary Education and in 2005 with a Masters of Early Childhood Education from Brenau University. I have taught Pre-K, 1st, 2nd, and 5th grades. This is the start of my 5th year at Coram Deo where I taught 1st grade for 4 years. I am thrilled to be moving up to 3rd grade. I have been married for 9 years (10 this January) to Scott, who I met in high school. We have two boys, Robert and Michael, who will be 4 and 2 this October. I feel so blessed to teach 2 days a week and to be full-time mommy as well. The boys attend preschool the two days I teach and then we are home, learning and playing the rest of the week. I enjoy running, almost any outdoor activity, reading, drinking coffee, and spending time with friends and family.
My goal for this website is to provide important information in a clear, concise manner that is beneficial to all of us.
